TV Hypnosis Smoosh

You're sitting down on the couch with your remote control. You're relaxed and ready to enjoy some quality television programming. Suddenly, you notice a black dot jumping on the screen.

Yep! It's exactly what you think it is.

Although some flies will play it cool and just relax on the surface of the screen, most of them will dance around like they are on crack.

Why do they do this? Are they excited that their favorite shows are on?

Let it be known now that flies DO NOT have favorite shows. They're brains are simply incapable of handling thoughts of whether or not to like one show versus another.

The real reason flies freak out on the screen is that they love sucking in the warm electrical aura of the TV. It mesmerizes them...so much so that they become distracted, bounce around in a centralized area, and therefore become vulnerable to attacks. This is where you come in.

Step 1: Sit down to watch TV and you observe the fly on the screen.

Step 2: If you are watching a movie, take your remote and change it to a news channel. The reason for this is with movies, the screen frequently alternates from dark to light scenes and this can easily throw off your game while stalking a fly. However, news channels usually emits a picture that contains a constant source of light.

Step 3: This step is a pain in the ass, but you will have to set the remote aside, psychically get up from the couch, and walk over to the TV.

Step 4: When you spot your prey, close in and swat it. If the fly is especially distracted and bobbing around in one place, then you can almost smoosh it with very little speed at all.

A lot of KillAFly alumni have learned that the TV is the best bait for drawing in the fly. It's even more effective than any expensive fly trap or paper that you buy over the counter. Save your money with this method instead!

By the way, as you probably already guessed, this technique only works at night time.
