Rubberband SniperThis is a useful technique for when a fly lands out of reach on a high wall or near the ceiling. Most novice assassins will wait for the fly to reposition itself, but this is like waiting for a pot of water to boil. It may never move. It is in this scenario that a projectile swatter is required. And the best projectile can be found in your own household in the form of a simple rubber band. Keep in mind that there are many ways to shoot rubber bands with one hand. The one illustrated below is just the most basic way. If you have a more effective way of shooting rubber bands with more force and accuracy, then by all means, use your own technique. Step 1: The fly has positioned itself out of reach (or within reach if you are doing this just for fun). Step 2: Take your rubber band and put one end on the tip of your finger. Step 3: Place the other end of the rubber band over your thumb. Step 4: Cock back your thumb and aim your pointing finger at the fly. Step 5: Lower your thumb to release the rubber band and fire your shot! If you are truly a master of this technique, your rubber band will fly forward and take out the fly in one quick shot. This technique also works great if you have a fly infestation. Just grab a handful of rubber bands, sit down on the couch, and start shooting at them one after another. Pretend that you are operating a turret on a ship during the Pearl Harbor invasion and the flies are enemy Japanese planes. |
