Fly Killing Products

Not everyone has the patience to use the lessons outlined on this website. If you want to resort to traditional fly killing products, here is a list of useful items to try out:

Fly Swatter
The most popular of fly killing products is the fly swatter. This allows you to swat flies quickly and easily run it under a faucet to clean off the mess.

Electric Fly Swatter
The funnest of the fly killing products. This is an electrical version of the fly swatter. Simply wait for the fly to land, then set this swatter over it and it zaps the fly dead with electricity.

Fly Paper
A sticky paper that you hang out in the open. The flies are attracted to it and when they land on the paper, their feet get stuck. They eventually die from no longer being able to fly around and collect food.

Fly Trap
Similar to Fly Paper, but the fly is attracted to landing inside the trap. It can no longer leave and eventually dies.

The Bug Zapper Lantern
Basically it works by plugging it in, then when the fly approaches the light, the electric screen on the outside fries the fly dead.

Venus Fly Trap
An amazing plant that actually traps flies within it's mouth and digests them slowly for food.
