Fly Killing PrimerSo you've considered killing some flies. You've tried out the lessons on the main page of this site and the results were less than satisfactory. Does this mean it's time for you to give up and call it quits? No! You have to understand that killing flies is NOT easy. If it were a simple task, then fly killing products wouldn't be a booming industry. The truth is that assassinating flies is an art...and with any art form, it requires practice and patience. This is where this Primer comes into play. By following the simple primer lessons below, you will see a substancial increase in your fly killing success rates. Primer #1: Know The Fly Flies really are stupid, aren't they? I mean, between choosing to eat from a fallen apple and a pile of dog sh*t, they will go for the feces everytime. However, this error in judgement does not change the fact that they are brilliant at escaping incoming threats. So before you can attemp to out maneuver them, you need to know their strenghts and weaknesses: House Fly Strengths: House Fly Weaknesses: Always remember, even though the fly's reaction time is quicker than a human's, their speed is still slower than a well performed swat of the hand. So it is crucial that you develop your speed and motor skills to become a successful Fly Assassin. Rule #2: Work Out Your Hands Every lesson in the KillAFly website utilizes the use your hands as a weapon. You need to realize that they are more than mere extensions of your body, they are ruthless fly killing instruments. There are many types of products available for working out your hands. The most common hand exercisers are: 1. Squishy Balls 2. Hand Grips 3. Grip Masters It would not be a bad idea to buy one of these inexpensive devices to increase your hand's strength and flexibility to aid you in killing flies. Rule #3: Practice Your Speed You've worked out your hands, but they are really useless if you have not developed the necessary motor skills to move them quickly. So let's begin with a practical "Sweeping" exercise that you can do everyday: Step 1: Get a timer and hold it in your hand. Step 2: Raise your arm out to your side. Step 3: Click the button to begin timing. Step 4: Immediately sweep your hand down and back up to your chest. Step 5: Immediately after completing this action, click the button to stop the timer. Do this exercise 5 times a day and try out perform your time. Eventually, you will develop a speed that will beat the flies response take-off time to incoming threats. Once you have mastered these 3 basic primer lessons above, it's time to move on to the actual lessons. Return to the homepage to begin testing out your newly acquired skills. |
